Conquering
When making big decisions I am always faced with the imposter second guessing if this is the right move, highlighting all the things that could go wrong. It’s really hard to turn down the volume of the nay sayer but when I do, man it’s bliss. Things happen, the task paralysis shifts and all my visions start to materialise. I still find myself worn down from incessant overthinking, trying to make sure everything is done perfectly first time, second guessing my moves and trapped in indecision. Seeing the results of my decisive actions help me to strengthen my conviction and belief in self, piece by piece building the stack in my favour. With every big decision comes more tests as now we have stepped out of our comfort zone, the tests ask more of us, forcing us to make even more uncomfortable decisions, piling up the pressure. No successful businessman has ever stopped halfway because he feared the risk of the mounting challenges, he took them on, one at a time never letting them get in his way. My lesson, choose something, run with it and don’t allow the obstacles to lead you astray.
